I started out in photography at around 12 years old with a Russian-built Fed rangefinder camera - I think it was a 5L. I can still remember the smell of the leather case!

At university, I bought my first SLR, a Pentax P30n, and happily photographed with that for a few years. In the mid 90's, my interest waned somewhat, and I took photos mainly of friends and events with an Olympus point-n-shoot camera.
